At 8 a.m., Friday, May 30, the company’s third convenience store in the Hoosier state, which is located at 1354 Veterans Parkway, opened its doors to the public this morning. The first 250 customers received free t-shirts and free coffee to toast the opening.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro officials are asking for your help to find an endangered missing person. David Johnson, 65, was last seen around 5 a.m. May 28 in the 3500 block of Janell Road in the Shively area. Mr. Johnson is 5′9″ tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities believe he is on foot and was last seen wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a blue jacket.

JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. (WAVE) – A deadly shooting by a Jeffersontown Police Department officer is now under investigation by the Kentucky State Police. The shooting happened in the 10000 block of Robsion Road at 11:25 a.m. on May 27. According to Chief Richard Sanders, the officer involved in the shooting was off duty at the time. Sanders said Jeffersontown police received multiple 911 calls about an agitated and delirious man who was acting violently, damaging property and threatening residents.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Four people were cited to appear in court following an altercation outside the Academy @ Shawnee. In a letter to parents, Hollie H. Smith, principal of the Academy at Shawnee, said the disturbance happened following the 8th grade promotion ceremony. Officers from Louisville Metro and Jefferson County Public Schools police were called to the school to deescalate the situation. Smith said the four people cited were not students at Shawnee.
