    A bad situation almost turned a lot worse inside of a comic book store in Gloucester County this past weekend. Glassboro Police say that at around 11:30 Saturday morning, April 12th, their officers were called to The Comic Book Store on North Main Street for an incident involving a gun. According to authorities, a customer in the store had been acting disorderly and was asked to leave by employees when that customer threatened physical violence.

    Good news for drivers in one South Jersey community: the safest railroad crossing in the state just got safer. And a little more ridiculous. I've been a fan of trains (known as "railfanning") since I was a kid. To this day, every time I drive over a railroad crossing, I instinctively look down the tracks to see if there might be a train coming. Sadly, in Atlantic County, there isn't much train traffic these days.

    Authorities in Gloucester County are asking for help as they try to figure out who exactly got hit by a vehicle Tuesday night. According to the Glassboro Police Department, at about 8:21 PM, a pedestrian walking southbound in the northbound lane of Delsea Drive was struck in front of Smash Bros., across from the Collegetown Shopping Center. Officers could not locate any identification or a cell phone belonging to the victim.
