    LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force, along with local law enforcement, has arrested a man following a drug seizure. Earlier this week, officers executed a search warrant at 20-D Corvette Court. They arrested 36-year-old Jarrod Phillips during the operation. Officers found more than one and a half pounds of meth, THC wax, marijuana, cocaine, pills, and a couple of guns. Phillips is facing multiple dealing and possession charges. The investigation is ongoing.

    TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A trial date has been set for Michael Baker, a Terre Haute man charged with reckless homicide. Baker was arrested in December. Police said he gave a 12-year-old Terre Haute boy an unknown substance to consume, which led to the boy's death. Baker faces several charges related to the case. His jury trial is scheduled for Monday, August 11. Baker will return to court for a pre-trial conference on Wednesday, July 30.
