    Bay County, Fla. (WMBB) – We were joined in studio by members of the Florida State University Childhood Autism Program, or ECAP, to discuss their 12th Annual Auction for Autism Awareness. People across all communities are welcome to participate in the festivities which include food, hundreds of baskets to win, drinks for all ages, a silent auction, and a kid friendly zone. The auction is set for Friday, April 12, at 5 p.m. at the FSU-PC Holley Center.

    PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) — A 35-year-old Panama City man was arrested after leading authorities on a high-speed chase throughout Panama City Beach Monday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. On Monday night, a trooper observed Shane Andrew Mouser speeding down State Road 79 at 108 mph. When they attempted to stop him he continued driving. Eventually, troopers were able to complete a pit maneuver that caused Mouser’s vehicle to become disabled on the south shoulder.

    PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Across the Panhandle, students returned to the classroom Thursday. Drivers will likely see more congestion on their daily commutes and share the roads with school busses. Deputy Jake Navarro with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office reminded drivers of how to properly stop for a school bus. Navarro said popular roadways like 23rd Street in Panama City and Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach are especially dangerous because the median is completely paved.
