PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Paula Rosignoli is a true professional in every sense of the word. She has been teaching both algebra and geometry at New Horizons Learning Center for a number of years now. For Rosignoli herself, teaching is all about letting your students blossom. “You see that aha moment once they get it and then they blossom from there,” said Rosignoli. “You show them the basic steps. I do that all the time, I break it down and show them what they need to do.

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A yearly tradition that supports area residents and comes with a bit of an interesting twist was back in Bay County for yet another year. Earlier Saturday, the Panama City Lions Club held their 61st annual gopher race at First United Methodist church in Panama City. There, residents and businesses sponsor an RC car designed as a turtle and race to try and take home a prize and bragging rights. This year, there were 20 separate heats with at least 15 turtles per heat.

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Instead of going with the often-used easter egg hunt on land, a few dozen Bay County residents switched things up and went diving for Easter eggs. Earlier Saturday morning, divers grabbed their wet suits and braved the cold water for the 10th annual Underwater Easter egg hunt. The hunt was held in the kiddy pool at St. Andrews State Park and was open to both scuba divers and snorkelers.
