GERING — Jaxson Hinze didn’t have his ‘A’ game during the first round of the Class B NSAA State Golf Championships, but what the York junior did do was grind out a respectable 73 to keep himself within striking distance. That proved to be all Hinze needed, as the junior came out dialed in Thursday at Monument Shadows, firing a sizzling 68 to go 4-under on the final round in Gering.
