An off-duty NYPD cop was critically injured early Saturday morning after being violently attacked and robbed in Westchester Square, police said. The assault occurred around 4 a.m. on May 24 near 1473 St. Peters Ave., within the confines of the 45th Precinct, according to authorities. Authorities said two suspects allegedly forced the 27-year-old officer to the ground, held a knife to his throat, and struck him repeatedly in the face.
