The Muny, which begins its 107th season with Bring It On on June 16, is being honored with the Regional Theatre Tony Award at the 78th annual award ceremony.

This spring, as St. Louis waited for news of final plans and headliners for the 45th annual PrideFest, we instead heard troubling news about funding for the fest. On March 25, Pride St. Louis announced that Anheuser-Busch had declined to sponsor the fest after more than 30 years. Additionally, funding outside of the Anheuser-Busch sponsorship was not meeting expectations, and the fest was facing a $150,000 shortfall.

As relief efforts continue across the region in the wake of the May 16 tornadoes that devastated parts St. Louis, St. Louis County, and the Metro East, many members of the community are looking for ways to help. To that end, plans are underway for a variety of benefit auctions, raffles, and events. Contribute to relief efforts by bidding on work by local artists, have some fun while funding mutual aid, or bring essential donation items to a dance party.
