The fire was first noticed by a neighbor at 2:44 a.m., who banged on the doors in the first block of North 12th Street to awaken the residents. The residents were able to safely escape.

Craig Stoudt was fishing in his boat with his two sons Sunday afternoon when he saw two kayaks headed straight for the deadly Dock Street Dam in Harrisburg. He thought they were trying to maneuver through a gap in the middle of the dam, so he started recording what he thought was a daredevil stunt on his cell phone. It soon became apparent that wasn’t the case.

WILLIAMSPORT-The man accused of firebombing the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion in Harrisburg was involuntarily committed to a mental health facility after a 2023 domestic violence attack at his home in Lower Paxtang Twp. That was revealed in court documents in Lycoming County related to Adrian Jones-Balmer, 34, obtaining a protection from abuse (PFA) order against her then husband Cody A. Balmer, 38. The couple later divorced.

A 62-year-old man set to be evicted from his apartment Friday after causing numerous problems and refusing offers of assistance shot his neighbor, killed himself and set his home on fire, according to officials. Duane Ulmer had not boxed up any of his belongings even though he was aware of the eviction, officials said.
