    A few rounds of thunderstorms are possible in the Milwaukee area as we close out the week and head into Easter weekend.     A new restaurant serving banh mi sandwiches and a variety of other Vietnamese food is opening in the former Erbert & Gerbert's Sandwich Shop on Milwaukee's east side. Saigon Baguette is planning to open in early May at 2338 N. Farwell Ave., owner Hai Le told the Journal Sentinel on Tuesday. In a licensing application filed with the city earlier this month, Le describes the new spot as a to-go and dine-in restaurant serving Vietnamese fare like pho, sandwiches, café items and tea.

    Installation of the east-side lights begins in April and is expected to be finished in June. The project expands the bridge's visibility to the harbor and lakefront areas. The west side of the bridge was first lit in 2020 after a crowdfunding campaign. Milwaukee's Hoan Bridge will soon be illuminated on both sides. In celebration of 414 Day on Monday, Light the Hoan announced that the installation of lights on the east, harbor-facing side of the bridge will begin this month.
