    Brazen Head Pub's Brazen Beer Cheese Burger won the 2025 Wisconsin's Best Burger Contest. The burger features a half-pound of Angus beef, cheddar cheese, bacon, onion rings and Harp beer cheese on a pretzel roll. Eight finalists were chosen based on online nominations and judged on taste, appearance, doneness and overall enjoyment. A West Bend bacon cheeseburger has been named the Best Burger in Wisconsin.

    Vendetta Coffee Bar has plans to open a third location in the former Interval Coffee shop in Bay View. That's according to an occupancy permit application recently filed with the Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services by Vendetta co-owner Bill Haley. The application indicates that Vendetta seeks to open a café, food and entertainment space on the first floor of 2268 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., the same spot where Interval Coffee operated before closing earlier this spring.
