SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — This week marks one year since the community lost two police officers at once. On April 14, 2024, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Michael Hoosock and Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen were ambushed outside a home on Darien Drive in the Town of Salina. Those brutal hours began many days of mourning, the officer’s befitting funerals and so many fundraisers, tributes, and memorials since.

Koto Japanese Steak House – 9331 Destiny Usa Drive, SyracuseThis restaurant received nine violations, with none in critical condition. Food not protected in general: The inspector found a scoop used in the cornstarch container with its handle touching the product. This was corrected at the time of inspection.
