LENOX — The town’s largest new mixed-income rental apartment complex got a thumbs-up from Affordable Housing Trust members and other town officials during their first public hard-hat tour. The Pennrose developer’s first batch of rental apartments will open for successful lottery pre-applicants in two to three months.

LENOX — Two years ago, residents approved a new wireless bylaw aimed at increasing coverage in multiple dead zones, including downtown. It was a resounding 464-67 vote at the May 2023 annual town meeting. Now, TowerCo, a national company based in Cary, N.C., and Verizon Wireless have partnered to file the bylaw’s first special-permit application with the Zoning Board of Appeals.
