Earlier today, Met Éireann issued a Status Yellow weather warning for 18 counties in Ireland with conditions expected to fluctuate over the next few days. A fog warning was issued in the early hours of this morning for Westmeath, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Louth, and Offaly as well as all six counties in Munster and all five in Connacht. But it appears that things are only expected to get worse as Met Éireann also shared a tweet warning of bad weather ahead.

The Irish actor was a guest on the BBC chat show on Friday, alongside Hollywood stars Eddie Redmayne, Paul Mescal, and Denzel Washington. The ISPCA has issued a public appeal as the charity is set to run out of space at its shelters. The public is being urged to consider adopting a dog so the charity has the chance to make more space for other animals. There are currently 360 animals in ISPCA care, of which 191 are dogs. The ISPCA needs public support to continue their vital work, and to make room to help more animals that need to be admitted.
