PHOENIX – The dangers of extreme Arizona heat are well documented. That’s why state leaders are launching a new initiative to protect workers who toil outdoors. Gov. Katie Hobbs signed an executive order Thursday directing the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH) to create a Workplace Heat Safety Task Force. The group will consist of industry leaders, workers and occupational safety experts.

Some really wet and weird weather to start the month. Phoenix saw 0.2" of rain Sunday--10X the daily record set in 1914. Yuma also saw measurable rainfall on a June 1st for its first time in its more than 150-year history according to @NWSPhoenix @AZMorningNews @KTAR923
