    NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCIV) — North Charleston Police Department is investigating a gun incident at Northwoods Mall. Police say two groups of individuals pulled out guns in the food court area. According to NCPD, no shots were fired and no one was injured. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

They say Lizzy Zito and Arianna Gamber were found Sunday Morning on Morrison Drive in downtown Charleston. Where the two girls were found is now marked with flowers.

    CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Ben Almquist has resigned from his role as the City of Charleston's emergency management director. Almquist resigned on Friday, a week after Charleston saw record rainfall and severe flooding. He was named the city's emergency director on August 8th, 2022, and was previously the director of emergency management for Berkeley County from 2018 to 2022.
