It’ll be called “Buck’s Country Corner” and they’re expecting to open sometime in June. “We had the opportunity to take it over, it was a pretty happening spot when we were growing up when Bob had it,” said Kindya.

    BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - On Wednesday over 200 students made their way to Husson University for the Second Annual Youth Summit hosted by Penquis. “So the day is filled with educational learning opportunities. The planning board came up with the theme of ‘success starts with self-care and self-respect’. And with that theme, they chose presenters to teach on topics that they think are valuable to youth today. They participate in some educational workshops. There’s a presenter.

AAA is projecting that 45 million Americans will be traveling over the weekend, including two million right here in New England.     DEDHAM, Maine (WABI) - On Thursday the Dedham School hosted their first ever Field Day with Friends. They were joined by students from Glenburn and Orrington. “It’s an event for some students with special needs to allow them to have a fun day competing at athletic and just generally fun events,” said Tim Pearson, the physical education teacher at Dedham. After an opening ceremony held in the gym, it was time for the games to begin.
