    One man was pronounced dead following an auto-pedestrian crash on Sunday evening in western Broomfield. The fatal crash happened at around 5:15 p.m. Sunday in the parking garage of the Terracina Apartments, 13620 Via Varra, Broomfield, according to Broomfield Police Public Information Officer Rachel Haslett. The Broomfield Police Department responded, and one man was pronounced dead on the scene, Haslett said.

    Broomfield’s new advisory committee for the county’s water fund is set to begin meetings later this year with all seven seats filled by City Council appointees. The new advisory group is called the Fiscal Leadership on Water advisory committee, or FLOW. Broomfield staffers initially suggested creating a new committee in April as a way to provide the council and staff with insights and recommendations for how to manage Broomfield’s enterprise funds, including the water funds.
