A Broomfield Animal Service officer rescued a fox on Tuesday after it was found trapped in a window well. In body camera footage posted on X, an officer can be seen getting into the window well, grabbing the fox by the scruff of its neck and lifting it up and out of the well. According to the post, the officer handed the fox to another officer who carried it to the front of the home to be reunited with its family.

At 10 a.m. April 19 at the Broomfield Library, 3 Community Park Road, Broomfielders can get together to celebrate Earth Day. The event will feature a host of eco-themed activities, including a seed swap, a bike repair station and energy expert speakers. At the seed swap, attendees can bring extra seeds from their garden to share while taking home new varieties from other gardens.
