On Friday, Touch Care Ministries welcomed several dozen students from Abbett Elementary School to pack potatoes at Kingdom First Church, 1101 McKinnie Ave. in Fort Wayne. The church will then give away the potatoes in 10-lb. bags, while supplies last, on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.Even with 1,500 pounds, the food doesn’t last long.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The bill to study a possible casino move is still working its way to the governor’s desk, but the Indiana Gaming Commission started the process on Tuesday. The Commission posted a Request for Quotation (RFQ), due back by March 14, to conduct a study on the potential relocation of gambling operations for the Indiana Gaming Commission. The RFQ would give the Commission options for study authors if the bill were to become law.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Ambassador Enterprises announced the appointment of Jeff Albert as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founder Daryle Doden. Albert, currently the CEO of SOLV Holdings, will lead AE following Doden’s announcement in August of 2024 regarding his intention to step down after leading the company since its founding in 2006.
