ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – The Southwest Allen County Schools (SACS) Board of Trustees unanimously approved the appointment of Adam Swinford to be Homestead High School’s next principal on Tuesday. This follows the retirement of current principal Susan Summers, who will conclude her tenure at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. According to a press release from SACS, Swinford brings over 25 years of experience in public education.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – As Senate Bill 1 continues to be discussed at the statehouse, Northwest Allen County Schools (NACS) continue to wait and see what will be signed into law.
