Former Mayor Rahm Emanuel is side-stepping a verbal battle with Chicago's current Mayor. Current Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, more than once, recently, has criticized Former Mayor *and* Ambassador Rahm Emanuel for touring the country talking about resuming public service. The Chicago City Council Finance Committee is recommending the city pay around $3 million in settlements for two people killed in wrongful police chases, one person injured by a police car, and another injured by a police officer. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Former Mayor Rahm Emanuel isn't ruling out the possibility of trying to get his old job back. Near the end of a nearly hour long interview before the Economic Club Emanuel was asked if he'd consider being mayor again. "I'm not done with public service, and I hope public service is not done with me."That's something the recent U.S. ambassador to Japan has said before, but to applause, he continued.
