PROVO, Utah (KUTV) — The retaining wall has already begun crumbling due to a runoff issue at the newly-opened Wasatch Elementary School in Provo. The south end of the parking lot has been closed off, and construction crews were on-site. Officials from the Provo School District said repairs will take several months. According to district, the issue stems from water coming from the mountain above, which weakened the south retaining wall just months after the school opened.
