Construction is underway at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort on the east side of its swimming area. The resort’s East End Expansion Project will add five new swimming pools, a new shaded area, and bring back a drinking spring.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Mesa County Board of Commissioners has officially signed off on the 2024 budget for the county. The board approved $261.1 million for 2024. County officials say the budget will prioritize financial sustainability and invest in infrastructure. Officials also say they plan on investing in top-tier employees to core services to strengthen the quality of life in mesa county. This year’s budget has increased 7.6 percent from last year.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -23 suspects tied to over 40 Marijuana Dispensary burglaries were arrested on Friday, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office. It’s alleged the suspects were members of two separate organized crime groups links to crimes that took place between September 2022 and November 2023. The DA’s office said their crimes accumulated approximately $789 thousand.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Police and Fire Department need the communities help in finding information relevant to a fire and vandalism on 10th and Grand from around 9:50 Friday night. When crews responded, a red glow was visible inside the multi-unit apartment complex. It was immediately extinguished. The apartment complex is currently under construction and no one was actively living in any of the units.
