The annual World Car Awards were announced at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, and Kia added more hardware to its trophy case with its win of the prestigious 2025 World Car of the Year award for its EV3, a compact all-electric SUV. Cargo RoomWhat the K4 Hatchback lacks in length versus the sedan, it makes up for in an open cargo area that expands with a 60/40-split, folding backseat on the GT-Line Turbo I sampled. I didn’t observe any underfloor storage, and the cargo area appears to be shallower and less roomy than the Civic hatchback’s, though we’ll have to wait for our official cargo testing to compare cargo volume.
