When Elizabeth VanDusseldorp swings and connects with the golf ball, it is art in motion. The Holland Christian golfer has been drawn to both art and golf and found the place to put those two passions together. VanDusseldorp, the Sentinel Golfer of the Year, committed to play golf at Calvin University next year where she will study to be an art teacher. Those are just of the communities at Calvin she hopes to be a part of.

Krue Anderson was getting the puck to the net, but the West Ottawa hockey team needed a boost on defense. So Anderson made the move - and it turned the Panthers' season around. "This season was different for me than most. I switched positions going from forward to defenseman, around game nine," Anderson said. While Tommy Buis watched his sisters become elite gymnasts, he was more comfortable on the ice. Buis shared the family athleticism and the West Ottawa graduate became one of the top hockey players in the state, earning Sentinel Player of the Year honors. Fast forward a few years and Buis is college record-breaker. Buis broke the Post University record for most games played with 110 during his career.
