Lee Anderson was found in Great Langdale (Image: Google Maps) AN ‘intelligent, supportive father and friend’ took his own life at a favourite Lake District hiking spot, an inquest has heard. Lee Anderson, 54, of Main Street, Staveley, was found at White Ghyll Ravine in Great Langdale on December 30, 2024, after his wife Linda Anderson became concerned when he did not answer her calls. Mrs Anderson could also see via an app that his mobile phone location had not moved.

George William Litt, 70, died in the Newlands Care Centre in Newlands Park in Workington on April 6, 2025.
