HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Wednesday evening everyone! The big story as we head into the home stretch to the weekend will continue to be the high fire danger concerns. This is due mostly to the lack of moisture over recent weeks. In addition, strong winds and above average temperatures have elevated that risk. While we won’t see any substantial relief any time soon, we will see some sprinkles or light rain early this evening as a disturbance moves northwest to southeast through the area.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Tuesday evening everyone! Above average temperatures, along with the lack of moisture and more wind, will elevate fire weather concerns as we head through the rest of the week. A weak area of low pressure will bring increasing clouds this evening. With not much moisture for this system to work with, most of us will remain dry. A few isolated sprinkles or very light rain will move through, mainly favoring northern areas. This will come with a weak cold front.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Thursday evening everyone! Get out the umbrellas and the rain boots as we are looking at some wet and cool weather to end the work week. Thankfully, the weekend looks to be unscathed by this weather system as it will move out by early Saturday morning. Have already seen light rain move into southwest parts of the state this evening. Some colder air in place out west will allow for snow to develop.

The recent onslaught of hit pieces by the North Idaho Republicans and, most recently by Joy Richards in particular, reminds me of the continuous attacks and resistance of those Democrats, pseudo-Republicans and the guilty bystanders who continually either attacked the first Trump administration or stood by and silently watched it happen.
