HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A good and steamy Tuesday evening everyone! As we head into the evening and overnight, the shower and thunderstorms activity will become a little more widespread across the entire area. Widespread severe storms are not expected, but at least some isolated severe weather will be possible. The best chance will be over Western Nebraska where the Storm Prediction Center has placed a Slight Risk of severe storms. Some large hail and damaging wind gusts will be the biggest threats.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) -Good Monday evening everyone! Some received very beneficial rains the past 24 hours. There will be more opportunities for everyone this week to receive much-needed rain as well. This will be thanks to a stalled out front draped across the area that will bring periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms through Thursday. Thunderstorms have fire up near the front over Southeast Nebraska back into North Central Kansas. A few storms along and ahead of the front could be severe.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Thursday evening everyone! If you thought today was hot, well, you haven’t seen nothing yet. Get ready to ride the heat wave the next several days as the hottest temperatures so far this year roll into town. It will be a noticeably warmer and muggier this evening as temperatures remain the upper 70s to low 80s well after sunset. While most of us will remain quiet and dry, we could see one or two isolated strong to marginally severe storms between 5pm and 9pm.
