HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Happy Friday evening everyone! We finally had some seasonal temperatures across the area today thanks to sunny skies. You may have noticed though the skies weren’t exactly blue this afternoon but rather a bit hazy. This is thanks to Canadian wildfire smoke being transported in on upper-level northerly winds. While the smoke has stayed well above the surface for now, we could see some of this make it closer to the ground over the weekend. Especially on Sunday.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Evening everyone! Saw a bit more sun today along with warmer temperatures. Also saw some scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon thanks to a disturbance moving through the eastern half of the state. Rgus activity has been diurnally driven and will diminish around sunset. Afterward, skies will gradually clear through the evening hours setting us up with a starry sky with light winds and cool temperatures. Lows tomorrow morning will be mainly in the 40s.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Wednesday evening folks! It was another gloomy and cool day across much of the area. Western and central locations did pick up some additional much needed rain. This is thanks to yet another disturbance making its way through the area today. This activity will continue pushing southeast bringing showers and possibly a few rumbles of thunder to areas along and south of the interstate this evening.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Tuesday evening everyone! It was another unseasonably cool and dreary day today. Just one for dreary, cool and damp day tomorrow before we see some much-welcomed changes as we head into the end of the week. The clouds will part some later this evening into the overnight, allowing for temperatures to dip back into the mid to upper 40s. With partially clear skies and light winds, central and eastern parts of the area could see areas of patchy fog tomorrow morning.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Monday evening everyone! It has been an unusually cool Memorial Day and start to the week. Clouds and showers have kept temperatures 15 to 25 degrees cooler than average today. The chance of rain will continue through this evening, however, will get lower through the overnight...especially for the western half of Local4 country. Eastern areas will still have a pretty solid chance of some light rain overnight.
