Eugene police responded to a fatal stabbing Saturday evening. A 65-year-old was taken into custody at the scene. Police have not released details on what led to the stabbing. A 63-year-old man was killed in a stabbing Saturday evening, and a woman was arrested in connection with his death, according to Eugene police. Officers responded at 6:59 p.m. to a residence in the 1500 block of West 6th Avenue, where they found the man deceased, according to a Eugene Police Department news release.

Two people were shot early Sunday morning at a downtown Eugene bar, leaving one critically injured, according to police. Officers were patrolling the area when they heard gunshots at City Nights, 77 W. Broadway, around 2:02 a.m., according to a release from the Eugene Police Department. A suspect reportedly fired inside the bar, striking two patrons. One victim sustained critical injuries and was taken to a hospital, while the other was treated and released.
