SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The world's number one-ranked player, Scottie Scheffler, won again, repeating as the champion at the Memorial. Scheffler wins for the third time in five weeks and the third time in his last four starts. SANDY, Utah (KUTV) — Real Salt Lake started the season with major problems at both ends of the field. Dominated 4-0 in San Jose and beaten 3-1 at home by San Diego FC, RSL was searching for answers everywhere. Flash forward two months and RSL has improved dramatically at the defensive end of the field, conceding just five goals in the last five matches after playing Portland to a scoreless draw at home. But putting the ball in the back of the net remains a major problem.

SANDY, Utah (KUTV) — The Whitecaps have traditionally been a mediocre, or bad MLS team. But the 2025 Vancouver team is flying and handed Real Salt Lake another defeat. How will RSL respond after trailing most of the game and losing 2-1? The 'Caps have the best record in MLS and have eliminated Saprissa, Monterrey, Pumas and Messi/Miami, in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
