NORWALK, Conn. —The Norwalk Charter Revision Commission will hold its second and final public hearing on Tuesday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at Norwalk City Hall. The hearing, which will also be accessible via Zoom, is part of the commission’s efforts to gather public input before submitting its final recommendations for changes to the City Charter. The Common Council established the Charter Revision Commission in fall 2024.

NORWALK, Conn. — The Maritime Aquarium has launched a new vessel, the R/V Sound Explorer. “I’m thrilled to be getting back out on the water and welcome our visitors on our new vessel, the R/V Sound Explorer,” said Nikki Rosenfeld, the boat Captain and Associate Director of the Aquarium. The vessel will be used as a floating classroom, with various programming, including a life encounter cruise.
