NORWALK, Conn. — Wegmans Food Markets is preparing to open its new 92,000-square-foot supermarket in Norwalk on July 23, and just 100 positions remain to be filled. The company will host two open hiring events to staff the store, which is expected to employ approximately 500 people, with most hires made locally. The hiring events will take place on Wednesday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wegmans Norwalk Hiring Office, located at 40 Richards Ave., Suite 220.
