    An appeal has been made by gardaí to landowners in specific areas of Leitrim to check sheds and remote buildings for a man missing from Carrick-on-Shannon for over three weeks. Gardaí are renewing their appeal in seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 48-year-old Manuel D’Costa, who was reported missing from his home in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, on Friday, 16th May 2025. Manuel was last seen at approximately 6am.

She told Leitrim Live she was delighted to win the award, and despite the slightly showery weather in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, she said there was a lively atmosphere on the first day of Bord Bia Bloom 25. Nourish – The Caragh Nurseries Garden, designed by Leonie Cornelius and sponsored by Caragh Nurseries, was confirmed as one of the gold medal winners on Thursday morning.
