    Johnny Kenny made his first Celtic start and marked it with a goal in the Scottish Premiership as his side ran out 5-1 winners at Aberdeen. Kenny is the son of Johnny Snr, who played for Finn Harps between 1999 and 2003 and made 153 appearances for the Ballybofey club, winning a First Division Cup in 2002. He is also related to Donegal's 1992 All-Ireland winning manager Brian McEniff from Bundoran, who is a cousin of his grandmother.

    St Eunan's GAA club will receive a civic reception in Letterkenny next month. The O'Donnell Park side overcame Dungloe 1-13 to 1-10 last October to become the side in the county to win the Donegal SFC title for the 16th time. Mayor of the Letterkenny-Milford MD, Gerry McMonagle, made the proposal initially at the February meeting and the reception will take place on Thursday, June 5, at 7pm

    Ulster SFC winners Donegal will begin the round-robin stage of the All-Ireland SFC on Saturday week against Tyrone. The GAA has confirmed the north-western neighbours will meet at MacCumhaill Park at 7pm on Saturday, May 24, with GAA+ screening the match live. The other two teams in Group 1, Mayo and Cavan, get things underway this Sunday at MacHale Park in Castlebar at 2:30pm.
