    It took a great all-round display from Naomh Naille to overcome Galway representatives An Ceathru Rua to reach the Comórtas Peil na Gaeltachta junior final in Rath Cairn, Meath on Sunday. The sides were level going into the final 10 minutes but the Parish of Inver side prevailed with Thomas White getting the clinching score. But it was an all-round display from Naomh Naille with all of their forward line and midfield getting on the scoreboard.

    Naomh Naille cruised into the semi-final of the All-Ireland Comórtas Peil na Gaeltacht junior competition with an 11 point win over Kerry champions Lios Poil. The Parish of Inver side finished with 3-24 on the scoreboard with Lios Poil on 3-13 in an entertaining contest. Naomh Naille led by 1-14 to 1-6 at the break and weren't troubled in the second half.

Jamie Meehan from Mountcharles and Odhrán Doogan from Gortahork were on the podium on Sunday evening and Doogan wore the yellow jersey as race leader for three days.
