    RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - High temperatures will be near or in the 90s for all of KOTA Territory, even the Black Hills! Some spots on the plains could flirt with 100° during the afternoon hours. Expect showers and thunderstorms to develop Wednesday afternoon. Some storms may become strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail as the primary threats. Temperatures will cool off Thursday and Friday with 80s to low 90s likely across the area.

    RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - High temperatures will reach the 90s across much of KOTA Territory on Tuesday and it gets even hotter Wednesday with some spots flirting with the triple digits. A few storms are possible Tuesday, but the chances are low. Expect a few around the Black Hills. Wednesday will bring a better chance for storms, where some may be strong to severe. It’ll be cooler Thursday and Friday with 80s and some 90s on tap.

    RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Temperatures continue to warm up over the weekend with highs near 90°. Sunny skies are expected Saturday with some clouds on Sunday and a few storm chances. A few isolated storms are possible Sunday morning, while another round will develop around the Black Hills by the afternoon and push southeast into Nebraska. A few storms may be strong to severe with hail and wind as the primary threats. Temperatures stay hot next week with highs in the 90s.

    RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - We’ll have plenty of sunshine Saturday until storms begin to develop in the afternoon. A few storms may be strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail as the primary threats. The severe threat ends Saturday evening, but showers and storms will linger Saturday night into Sunday. Temperatures will be in the 70s for much of the area this weekend, but warmer air is expected to return next week.
