Furniture and home decor retailer Arhaus has relocated from Freehold Raceway Mall to Seaview Square shopping center in Ocean Township. The new 13,800-square-foot Arhaus store opens on May 30 and is located next to Sephora. Arhaus closed its Freehold Raceway Mall location on May 27 after operating there since 2010. OCEAN TOWNSHIP -- Arhaus, a furniture and home decor retailer, has just about completed its move from Freehold Raceway Mall.

A Stafford man accidentally shot his 13-year-old daughter while cleaning his firearm. The girl was initially taken to Southern Ocean Medical Center and later transferred to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where she is in stable condition. The father, Edgar Baerga, 47, was charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The crash occurred around 7:25 p.m. on May 24, when a Mercedes sedan was struck by an Infiniti sedan, causing it to hit a utility pole. New Jersey-based surf apparel brand Jetty is opening a second store in Long Branch's Pier Village. The new 3,382-square-foot store will be Jetty's largest and offer a wider selection of products, including surfboards and other beach essentials. Jetty, founded in 2003, has grown from a small T-shirt company to a major brand with over 600 retail partners.
