In the Research Article “Spin-mediated promotion of Co catalysts for ammonia synthesis” (21 March 2024, p.1357), the authors found a typing error in an exponent of a constant in the Excel program used for conversion of the quadrupole mass spectrometry signal to reaction rate. The program was applied to all model systems measured in this research, and all the reaction rates [observed turnover frequency (TOF)] in the article were calculated one order of magnitude too high.

Winnikoff et al. explored how comb jellies have adapted to such pressures.

The Perspective “Multistage maturation optimizes vision” (24 May 2024, p. 848) misrepresented some of the findings of the corresponding paper by Vogelsang et al. [M. Vogelsang et al., Science 384, 907 (2024)] by stating that individuals with delayed vision were poorer at perceiving color images compared with black-and-white images. The text has been altered to accurately describe the findings of the paper, and the figure has also been changed accordingly.

Transgender, travesti, and nonbinary (trans) individuals face considerable challenges in Brazil, which have been magnified by the COVID-19 pandemic (1). As trans scientists, we urge Brazil’s government to enact affirmative action policies to support trans individuals pursuing higher education as students and employees. Before even entering university, Brazil’s trans citizens face substantial risks.
