A total of 356 undergraduate students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) completed research-driven, professional-level projects that apply science and technology to address an important societal need or issue. Known as the Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP), this project is a core part of the innovative undergraduate experience at WPI. Centered around project-based learning, this hands-on approach offers students opportunities to help develop thoughtful solutions to open-ended problems.

7 1/1 THIS year Father's Day celebrations might be somewhat muted under lockdown. There certainly won't be the chance to take dad to his favourite restaurant for a slap up meal. Perhaps for most dads just the chance to spend time at home with the family or have a socially distanced get together in the garden will be better than any gift.

No amount of comments, responses and rebuttals regarding a crisis of our time seemed to strike at the heart of the problem or evoke any commitment for change. What didn't come as such a surprise though in the BBC/ITV/Sky survey published as polls closed at 10pm, was the prediction of a 170 seat majority for Labour across the UK.
