As we head into the summer, Panama City Beach is looking to fill 10 lifeguard positions. They have received multiple applications since the start of the year. However, we are having difficulty finding qualified candidates who can meet the physical requirements for the job.

Several significant projects are gaining momentum, and residents can expect to see the changes soon. First up: a new roundabout at Boat Race Road and Berthe Avenue. City officials said they have begun relocating utilities, and once that’s complete, they plan to realign the intersection because it has always been challenging to navigate.

It’s helping build futures for Bay County residents. Located at 1709 White Western Lake Lane in Southport, the 2,000-square-foot home features four bedrooms, two and a half baths, and was built by Coastal Classic Homes. It’s one of the homes featured in this weekend’s BBIA Parade of Homes.
