COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Moving into Wednesday and Thursday, all eyes will be on a front that will push in from the east and bring chances for rain and a few storms back to the Chattahoochee Valley. These will still stay very widely spaced, so not everyone will get wet, but you'll want to keep the umbrella handy just in case the next couple of days. Drier air will return by Friday and the weekend with rain coverage dropping back down to near zero.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - After a stormy weekend, quiet weather has settled in this week and should stick around into the weekend and next week too. Humidity values will be on the lower side for the next few days, and this will make for some comfortable morning temperatures moving ahead this week - look for mostly 60s and few lower 70s along the way. Rain chances will be very close to zero on Tuesday, around 10% on Wednesday, and around 20% on Thursday.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Heading into Friday, there may be a few isolated showers or storms, especially Friday evening or night, but most of us will stay dry - and most of those high school football games will be dry and quite warm for the schools getting things kicked off! The weekend will feature some changes as a boundary drops south and provides a focus for rain and storms in the area, especially during the afternoon and evening.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Looking ahead to the weekend, rain and storms will be in greater number than we saw on Friday, so make sure you have the umbrellas ready to go for any outdoor plans! You'll have the ability to keep track of any showers and storms on the WTVM weather app as well. Remember that it won't be a washout, but the coverage of rain will be higher in the afternoon and evening hours generally, with chances dropping late into the night and overnight.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Rain and storms will be in fewer number on Friday, which should mean more sunshine and a good chance at seeing temperatures climb into the 90s during the afternoon and evening. Weather will be similar heading into Saturday with coverage of rain and storms around 30% during the afternoon and evening.

RT @ClayTravisBGID: Today's the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg's first day. Aka when Ewell showed he was Zook to Stonewall's Spurrier.

These British people on CNN are absolutely awful at reading the news. Thank goodness Jake Tapper has showed up.
