    THIS SUNDAY, April 12, sees Ireland's top cyclists roll into one of Limerick’s most scenic villages as the Kilteely Grand Prix takes place once again. A field of over 200 cyclists is expected across two races starting from 11am in the village that was once synonymous with a sadly-missed soapbox derby. The race is unique in that it takes in the gruelling inclines of Knockroe and Kilteely which makes for an exciting and pulsating event.

    GARDAI in Limerick are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 41-year-old Ann Gallagher, who was last seen on Saint Nessans Road, Dooradoyle, on Sunday, September 1. A garda spokesperson said Ann may have travelled to the Foynes area in the early hours of Sunday. “Ann is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height and of a slim build.     A 78-YEAR-OLD man was allegedly viciously assaulted by two young boys - aged 15 and 12 - while out for a walk on the Limerick Greenway, Limerick Live has learned. The pensioner is said to have been punched and kicked on the ground in the unprovoked attack close to the entrance to the multi-million euro public amenity in Rathkeale.
