Cope was leading StarCom Racing before the team sold its Cup Series charter to 23XI Racing ahead of the 2022 season, giving Cope a chance to breathe for the first time in almost half a century. Over a three-year period, Cope traveled and played golf.

Sam Hunt Racing (SHR) announces today that NASCAR Cup Series standout Christopher Bell will pilot the No. 24 Mobil 1 GR Supra at the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race in Mexico City. The Chilango 150 will take place at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on Saturday, June 14th. Since joining Joe Gibbs Racing, Bell has secured multiple victories in both the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series.

The 41st running of the NASCAR All-Star Race Sunday night at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway will see a first-time entrant. Rick Ware Racing (RWR), which has competed in the NASCAR Cup Series since 2012, will be a part of the annual NASCAR Cup Series exhibition race for the first time.
