LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Coulee Region will roar with the sound of motorcycles this weekend during the Big River Rally. The Oktoberfest grounds will be bustling with activity Friday and Saturday. Jean Taylor, operations manager at Mid-West Family La Crosse, shared the exciting lineup. "Bobby Friss is kind of a legendary old school Milwaukee. He used to do commercials for Miller back with [Bob] Uecker," said Taylor. "And then a band called Texas Hippie Coalition is going to play on Friday night.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Hot and windy conditions couldn't deter the pros or the crowds coming out to support them at the La Crosse Open log rolling tournament. The women's final Saturday afternoon at Pettibone Park came down to a local battle. Six-time world champion Livi Pappadopoulos faced off against Aini Anderson, also hailing from Holmen. The friends battled back and forth for several rounds before Pappadopoulos eventually broke through scoring the first fall.
