TODAY AT A GLANCE: Scattered late storms work their way back into the forecast as the week goes on with a few possibly reaching severe levels later in the week. Highs warm into the low 80s in Denver tomorrow through Thursday, then 70s for Friday and Saturday before we head back into the 80s by Sunday. We’ll have a fairly dry west-to-east flow across the state on this Memorial Day with a few isolated storms breaking out, over mainly the central mountains.

DENVER — After a mild and dry start to the week across Colorado, an overnight cold front has dropped temperatures significantly. The cold front that arrived early Thursday will drop the high temperatures into the 30s in Denver for both Thursday and Friday with mostly cloudy skies. While it'll be significantly colder and cloudier, we've only got a chance for a few flurries on Friday. Little or no accumulation is expected from those flurries in Denver.

if ever there was a "belongs in every collection" record, this classic is one"Jazz Samba" wasn't the first Bossa Nova record released in The United States, and it wasn't called one, but it was, and upon its release in 1962 it broke open the Brazilian music floodgate. Within months of its release there was Bossa Nova everything. This record was also the first in a popular series of Creed Taylor produced Verve releases featuring on their covers Olga Albizu's abstract art. It was a winning formula.
