    MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — One person is dead after a fatal crash in Muhlenberg County. The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department requested Kentucky State Police to investigate a two-vehicle collision on Highway 181. The preliminary investigation revealed that 22-year-old Tyler Caple of Cromwell, Kentucky, was traveling southbound on Highway 181 when he fell asleep and crossed into the northbound lane, striking 61-year-old Nevin Bard of Greenville, Kentucky.

    DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — The Daviess County Sheriff's Office is attempting to locate a wanted man. 44-year-old James Thomas Paris is accused of attempted human trafficking and procuring/promoting the use of a minor by electronic means. Paris is described as a white male, 5'4, and 145 pounds. If you see Paris, you're asked to contact law enforcement immediately.

    OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — A man wanted for murder out of Gary, Indiana has been arrested after a standoff in Owensboro. Around 11:00 a.m. Friday morning the U.S. Marshals attempted to serve a warrant to 38-year-old Rashad Lamar Thompson in Owensboro. Police say Thompson then barricaded himself inside the home along Chickasaw Drive, which is near Tamarack Elementary School. After 5 hours, OPD says Thompson surrendered peacefully. 44News is working to learn more about the investigation.

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — An arrest has been made in connection to a Friday morning shooting investigation. As we reported, EPD officers responded to the 100 block of S. Green River Road for a shots fired call. Once on scene, officers located a woman with minor injuries. We're told she had been struck by glass after a bullet went through the window of her room. The suspect has been identified as Xairus V. Hardin.
