LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - After a valley-wide chase for the suspect in a deadly shooting at a North Las Vegas casino, the Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in the killing. Na’Onche Osborne, 23, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds after the shooting at Aliante Casino on Thursday, according to the coroner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide. The victim was identified as ex-North Las Vegas mayoral candidate Pat Spearman’s son.

Hearley Smith, 54, was arrested Friday on 22 charges related to sexual misconduct with a student, according to court records. LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A dog at The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas has tested positive for Canine distemper, according to the shelter. A news release said the female dog arrived at the shelter on Saturday, Feb. 22 showing signs of an infectious disease. The test results came back on Wednesday, the shelter said. Canine distemper is described by the Animal Foundation as a “highly contagious” disease that attacks a dog’s respiratory, gastrointestinal and nervous systems.
