WACO, Texas. (KWTX/Gray News) - A psychologist in Texas recounts a near-death experience in 1989 where she journeyed to the afterlife during a coma. It happened when Ellen Wier was 12 years old. On a day in September 1989, she was taking a horseback riding lesson when the horse kicked her in the right temple, causing her to fall off. Unconscious, she was taken to a hospital then transferred to the old location. Ellen was in a coma for five days.

On Valentine’s Day, Dylan Johnson called 911 when he thought someone was breaking into his home. When he finally made contact with a dispatcher, he says she was ordering breakfast. “My wife called me while I was at work about 9:30 and said someone was snooping around the house, knocking on the doors and banging on windows and stuff,” said Johnson.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ/Gray News) - A man in West Virginia was arrested after he allegedly desecrated an infant’s grave at a cemetery, according to authorities. According to the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office, Matthew Fortner, 49, was arrested on Wednesday. Investigators were called to Baylous Cemetery on Hickory Ridge Road on Thursday, March 27. A family visiting a loved one’s grave at the cemetery made the discovery.

CEDAR KEY, Fla. (WCJB/Gray News) - Two 16-year-old girls who went missing this week while paddleboarding in Florida have been found alive, authorities said. Levy County Sheriff’s deputies say the search began for Avery Bryan and Eva Aponte after they didn’t return from a paddle board excursion. They went missing Monday around 4 p.m. paddling toward Cedar Key from Atsena Otie. Deputies said the girls were found approximately 14 miles southeast of Cedar Key, near Yankeetown in Florida.
