WHITESTONE, NY – His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presided over the Holy Unction service on Holy Wednesday, April 16, at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Whitestone, assisted by the presiding priest of the community Fr. Nicolaos Paros, Chancellor of the Direct Archdiocesan District Fr. Elias Villis, Fr. Peter Daratsos, Archdeacon Dionysios Papiris, and Deacon Jeremiah Mandoras. The church was filled with the faithful who received Holy Unction as Holy Week continues.
