(Image: Google Street View) A MAN who filled his car and containers with more than £180 worth of diesel from Asda before driving off without paying has been fined. Michael Flynn, 26, from Staines, took the diesel from Asda on London Road in Pembroke Dock on February 13. He was arrested in the ferry port on his way back to the UK from Ireland. A shop owner from Pembroke Dock denied possession with intent to supply cocaine. A SHOP owner from Pembroke Dock whose car was found with 16 wraps of cocaine and more than £1,500 in cash has denied that he was intending to sell the drugs. James Balkwill, 32, of Pembroke Road in Pembroke Dock was seen by police getting out of his Mercedes and getting into a BMW outside a nightclub in Pembroke on September 24 of last year.

(Image: Police Scotland) A PEMBROKE man who parked his car in the middle of the street while more than twice the drink-drive limit has been banned from the roads.   The court heard that police received a call from a member of the public reporting a car was parked in the middle of Grove Street in Pembroke in the early hours of December 11. When police arrived, Joseph Whitbread, 38, of Grove Way, was in the car.

A YOUNG homeless man who damaged a windscreen wiper of a car and failed to turn up to court has been jailed in an attempt to get him back on track. Shae Holleywell, 26, pleaded guilty to criminal damage at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. Defending him, his solicitor Tom Lloyd said Holleywell had been triggered while outside probation when he committed the offence. He didn’t know the owner of the car and was remorseful, he said.

A Fishguard charity says it will be able to provide hundreds of healthy hot meals for youngsters thanks to a donation of more than £400 from the community. Point, which provides opportunities for youngsters living in north Pembrokeshire, was given the money by local history group Ein Hanes and the town’s theatre, Theatr Gwaun, after both organsiations held a fundraising talk at the theatre in December.
