MADISON, Conn. (WTNH/WPRI) - A man is in custody following an alleged kidnapping at gunpoint that began in Providence and ended at a Madison, Conn., rest stop early Thursday morning. Providence police told 12 News they received a report of a person with a gun on Crimea Street just after 12 a.m. on Thursday. A witness told officers that a man had threatened his ex-girlfriend with a gun, forced her into his car and fled.
