    Two teenagers are set to be reported after a car allegedly failed to stop then crashed into Dunfermline gardens. Officers tried to pull the car over on Linburn Road on Wednesday afternoon but it did not stop. The car eventually crashed into the gardens of homes on Macquarrie Crescent. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rescued two people from the vehicle.

    Hollywood has come to Tayside, Fife and Stirling over recent months to shoot a series of films. Crews have descended on the region for a number of upcoming major productions. Stars including James McAvoy, Christoph Waltz, Brian Cox and Alan Cumming are involved in the new releases. Similar film and TV projects have brought millions of pounds to the area in the last year. The Courier has taken a look at films recently shot in Tayside, Fife and Stirling that are set to be released in the near future.

    A Perth man says he was left “afraid” to go to work after homophobic slurs and “childish victimisation” from colleagues. Sean McGhie, 36, won £5,500 after taking his former employer, RHT Scotland – based at Belleknowes Industrial Estate in Inverkeithing, Fife – to a tribunal. Employment judge James Hendry found the firm, which specialises in office removals and installations, was liable after an employee shouted: “Where are you, you gay c***?” at Sean.

    NHS Tayside has apologised over messaging on changes to autism and ADHD assessments. The health board announced in March that its CAMHS service would no longer accept neurodevelopmental referrals for children without a co-existing mental health problem. The move was met with anger from parents who feared the impact on families and schools. However, NHS Tayside admits that its partner agencies were not “engaged fully in the change plans before the initial letter was sent”.

    The 2025 Perthshire Pride event will be hosted by a Still Game star as more details about the celebrations are confirmed. The LGBTQ+ event will be held on August 9 with new additions to the line-up. The 2025 parade through the city centre will be hosted by actress Jane McCarry, best known for her role as Isa in Still Game. Those taking part in the parade are asked to gather at Thimblerow Car Park from 10.30am.
